Records of batch number, reconstitution date and storage history are what allow a later analytical result to be interpreted meaningfully.

Typically, healthy hearts have only two audible heart sounds, called S1 and S2. The first heart sound S1, is the sound created by the closing of the atrioventricular valves during ventricular contraction and is normally described as "lub". The second heart sound, S2, is the sound of the semilunar valves closing during ventricular diastole and is described as "dub". Each sound consists of two components, reflecting the slight difference in time as the two valves close. S2 may split into two distinct sounds, either as a result of inspiration or different valvular or cardiac problems. Additional heart sounds may also be present and these give rise to gallop rhythms. A third heart sound, S3 usually indicates an increase in ventricular blood volume. A fourth heart sound S4 is referred to as an atrial gallop and is produced by the sound of blood being forced into a stiff ventricle. The combined presence of S3 and S4 give a quadruple gallop. Heart murmurs are abnormal heart sounds which can be either related to disease or benign, and there are several kinds. There are normally two heart sounds, and abnormal heart sounds can either be extra sounds, or "murmurs" related to the flow of blood between the sounds.

Seaport terminals handle a wide range of maritime cargoes. Break bulk / general cargo are goods that are handled and stowed piecemeal to some degree, as opposed to cargo in bulk or modern shipping containers. They are typically bundled in batches for hoisting, (with cargo nets, slings or crates), or stacked on trays, pallets or skids. They are generally lifted directly into and out of a vessel's holds, by cranes or derricks present on the dock or on the ship itself. If hoisted onto the deck instead of straight into the hold, cargo then is manhandled and stowed by stevedores. Securing break bulk and general freight inside a vessel includes the use of dunnage. When no hoisting equipment is available, break bulk would previously be man-carried on and off the ship, over a plank, or by passing via human chain. Since the 1960s, the volume of break bulk cargo has enormously declined worldwide in favour of mass adoption of containers. Bulk cargo, such as salt, oil, tallow, but also scrap metal, is usually defined as commodities that are neither on pallets nor in containers. Bulk cargoes are not handled as individual pieces, the way heavy-lift and project cargo are. Alumina, grain, gypsum, logs, and wood chips, for instance, are bulk cargoes. Bulk cargo is classified as liquid or dry.

The Bank of Canada announced the end of the recession even though it was nascent and still dependent on government stimulus money.
=== Symptom management === Alongside treatment that affects the disease itself, MS care includes symptom management with or without medication. Some symptoms have a good response to medication, such as bladder spasticity, while others are little changed. Equipment such as catheters for neurogenic bladder dysfunction or mobility aids can help improve functional status. A 2022 Cochrane review found that nabiximols (a specific Cannabis extract first approved in the United Kingdom in 2010) likely reduces the severity of spasticity as an adjunctive therapy to standard anti-spasticity medication in the short term, but may have increased medication discontinuation to a small degree due to adverse events. There is good evidence that specific approaches, such as exercise, and psychological therapies are effective. Cognitive training, alone or combined with other neuropsychological interventions, may show positive effects for memory and attention though firm conclusions are not possible given small sample numbers, variable methodology, interventions and outcome measures. The effectiveness of palliative approaches in addition to standard care is uncertain, due to lack of evidence. The effectiveness of interventions, including exercise, specifically for the prevention of falls in people with MS is uncertain, while there is some evidence of an effect on balance function and mobility. Cognitive behavioral therapy has shown to be moderately effective for reducing MS fatigue.

=== Lactotrophs === Lactotrophs (also called prolactin cells or mammotrophs) are acidophilic cells of the anterior pituitary that synthesise, store, and secrete prolactin. They develop from the Pit-1 (POU1F1)–dependent lineage, shared with somatotrophs and thyrotrophs. In the normal adult pituitary, lactotrophs constitute approximately 15–25% of anterior pituitary cells; this proportion rises to as high as 50% during pregnancy and lactation owing to estrogen-driven hyperplasia. Lactotrophs are electrically excitable, firing spontaneous action potentials accompanied by calcium transients that sustain continuous exocytosis.
